Topic: Of ring fingers
Learning guitar is still on my to do list, and I've started, but not gotten far.
One thing that seems to be difficult is getting that ring finger of my left had to cooperate for chords. Neither strength nor coordination seems up to par to the rest of the fingers. Event the pinkie does better.
Am I alone in this struggle?

Re: Of ring fingers
The pinkie is my biggiest trouble, but there are tools available to help build up the proper strength and coordination.

Re: Of ring fingers
I always found the pinkie the hardest. For years I just didn't bother using it, then one day I realised how foolish I had been and worked hard to train it up. After a couple of months it was working well and I haven't looked back!
The ring finger can be hard to control when first starting out though keep practicing and it will fall in line pretty quickly!

Re: Of ring fingers
Yeah I agree with Olly - just keep practicing.
How long have you been playing now?
