They are lighter than the previous but now I have terrible fretbuzz.

I adjust the truss but I have to box the neck to alleviate which doesn't seem right.

There is no adjustment on the bridge so what else should I be looking for?

Now I have my HD500 it would make more sense to go through my computer as then what I hear is what gets recorded.

However my computer sound is just run through an oldish hifi system so it really is not designed for guitar and ultimately could colour my tone.

So what do you guys use for this? I was thinking maybe I should ditch the hifi and get some decent monitor speakers - is this a good idea and if so, how much would I be looking at spending on this? Should
I be looking at some specifically designed for guitar? and would I still be able to use these to play general music through when I am not guitaring?

Advice would be welcome.

So I decided to keep and eye out on eBay for something second hand less that £100.

So now have a bass guitar coming but I don't really know how to play bass.

I have been reading about whether to use a pick or not and there seems to be quite a wide debate about that.

Anyone play bass that could give me some tips on making the transition from guitarist to bass player?

I will do a review in a few weeks when I get to know the amp a bit better.

Its loud, though my cab its just mind blowing, (and window shattering).

I am in major trouble with the wife, as a valve amp is not complete without pedals.

MXR  micro amp.

Carl Martin, Red Repeat. Which is epic.

Boss Chorus, cr1.

Only trouble I have 2 Exams next week, so not much time to play.

I then use A line 6 ux 2 (complete with VU meters), as a sound card\audio interface. Then I have Line 6 pod farm 2. Which give me some guitar amp effect options as well as vocal.

Also I have the peavy vypyr amp, which is also a audio interface. One of the interesting things I have found is I can set the vypyr up on a nice vox setting, and put effects on it in pod farm.

For vocal, tambourine, shakers, I have a peavy i2 mic.
